Kim has successfully worked in the telecommunications, technology, education/academia, healthcare, transportation, travel, and manufacturing industries. She has completed culture, organizational development, and strategy consulting projects within Fortune 100 companies; provided leadership and strategy coaching for executives; worked with marketing teams within the Fortune 50; and acted as Vice President of Strategy and Marketing for a mid-sized technology firm. She was on the faculty of a private liberal arts college as Director of Graduate Technology Management Programs, where she managed a specialized MBA curriculum and taught graduate courses in strategy, innovation strategy, marketing strategy, new product development, technology marketing, and philosophy of technological innovation and progress.
Holding a doctoral degree from the University of Utah, David Eccles School of Business, in Marketing Strategy, with allied studies in Cultural Anthropology and Consumer Behavior, Kim brings a unique perspective to organizations that melds organizational anthropology, strategic frameworks, and integrated communication models. She is experienced in a variety of organizational development and research techniques designed to assess the underlying cultural patterns and communication networks within a company, trained in leadership and personality assessment tools, and experienced in marketing methods centered on branding, value creation, product positioning, and consumer behavior.
